Pregnancy courses
In and around Dronten there are various antenatal courses that can prepare you for childbirth. A pregnancy course is not only fun but also educational. You can exchange experiences with other pregnant women, receive breathing and relaxation exercises before childbirth and lots of tips and information. The start date depends on the type of antenatal course you take. Most courses start around the 24th week. Below you will find an overview of the courses near Dronten.
VitalEverywhere
Outdoor training Powermama is a group lesson especially intended for pregnant and recently given birth women. You can participate in this outdoor course from the 16th week of your pregnancy until delivery. You can pick up the thread again six weeks after the birth of your baby.
VitaalOveral also provides pregnancy yoga and, together with a pelvic therapist, gives a complete pregnancy course ZwangerFit and for after the birth; core restore, recover after pregnancy.

Haptonomic pregnancy guidance
The haptonomic pregnancy guidance is individual guidance per couple. The special thing about this guidance is that the partner is as involved in the exercises as the expectant mother. It is possible to start this from the 20th week of pregnancy.

NVFB-ZwangerFit® or NVFB-ZwangerFit® plus at Kerngezond Lelystad
The NVFB-ZwangerFit® course starts from the 15th week of pregnancy. You follow a weekly 1-hour lesson with active exercises aimed at maintaining strength and fitness during pregnancy. In addition, there is a 4-week theory block on pregnancy, childbirth and the postpartum period.

First aid for infants and children
If you are a father or mother or soon will be, it is a good time to learn how to provide first aid to your child(ren) with the quick and easy course.
You take the course at your own pace. It consists of a theory and a practical part.
Theory: You learn the theory online by viewing photos, videos and listening to instructions. The theory course ends with a final test.
Practice: After the theory has been passed, you will attend one practical meeting. You will practice the most important first aid actions under the guidance of a recognized first aid instructor. This practical lesson lasts four hours. There is room for a maximum of 14 people per course date.
